Andre 3000 on Cartoon Network

A new animated TV series from the famous Outkast singer is to be broadcast on Cartoon Network

An animated TV series from Andre 3000 of Outkast has received a green light for 13 episodes on the Cartoon Network. According to Daily Variety, the show will make its debut in 2006, under a title, which will be announced soon.

The TV show tells the story a group of kids in Atlanta and their relationship with a mysterious mentor, who becomes an inspiration in their lives.

Meanwhile, Andre Benjamin, is thrilled to be given a role in crime drama in Four Brothers.

"When John Singleton said he wanted me to play JEREMIAH MERCER and explained how Jeremiah was an interesting character who has different sides to his personality. I thought of all these different styles I could play", the singer said.

"I needed that challenge. I have to keep finding characters that I have to push myself to do", Andre 3000 added.


The Outkast star, who will next be seen in Guy Ritchie's "Revolver", is also in the recent DVD releases Be Cool and Hollywood Homicide and in the voice cast of the upcoming Charlotte's Web for Gary Winick.
