14 DAY TRIAL // Lindsay Lohan was arrested again the other day after allegedly clipping a pedestrian with her Porsche and then fleeing the scene of the crime. Just hours before that, Anderson Cooper was giving her the best advice possible.

Cooper picked on Lindsay after she took to Twitter to rip into Amanda Bynes, saying she should be in jail for driving under the influence so many times these past few months.
As Cooper sees it, Lohan would be much better off if she just minded her own business and left Bynes to her own devices (and alleged drinking issues).
“Just do your job!” was what Anderson would tell Lindsay to her face if he ever had the chance.
“If I'm Lindsay Lohan, I would just be quiet and just do your job,” he says.
She’s only wasting her life away by doing the exact opposite of that and, of course, she’s hurting herself the most because she still has millions of fans around the world who would love to see her succeed and make a comeback.
“Get off Twitter, just stop hanging out, and just do your job and come back. Everyone loves a comeback. Everyone's rooting for you,” Anderson says.
Oddly enough, just shortly afterwards, Lohan was detained by police on suspicion of hit and run.
On the next episode of his live show, Cooper had Cyndi Lauper on (see the second video) and Harvey Levin of TMZ as a guest caller to discuss whether Lindsay has been getting too many “final” breaks and whether it was time she showed responsibility for her mistakes.
Cooper is definitely not ok with how many breaks Lindsay has been getting from the judge and the California legal system.
