Initially, Lindsay Lohan was to become the face of Louis Vuitton. At least, that's what many said (including her), but that never came through. Luckily for Lindsay, she finally managed to make that important step from teen actor to fashion symbol... by signing with Miu Miu, Prada's 'child'.
From the very start, the people from the upmarket fashion line announced that Lindsay would start shooting almost immediately for the 2007 spring campaign. This (larger photo) is the best they could come up with... and for it, they get the ultimate Photoshop award. They surely do deserve it!
There are two explanations for why Lindsay looks like this, so unlike herself: the first one would be that they tried to make her fit into that standard image they are promoting with the spring campaign - all the women featured in it look alike: high platform shoes, big bags, faces white and bodies like those of dolls on the verge of falling apart. That could be one logical explanation.

The other one would be that they didn't like Lindsay's face but, if so, the question arises: why did they pick her in the first place? Plus, she looks darn hot with a little make-up on and lots of airbrushing afterwards and we all know that, because we have seen her in lots of magazines before.
That's not to say that this photo is not hot. It's just that it's very weird to look at it and try to see Lindsay Lohan in it: that tiny waist, those long legs, that porcelain face! It's not her and it hurts to pretend otherwise. Lindsay, the real one, the one that we all know and love/hate (depending on how good or bad her day is) is featured in the second photo, taken yesterday.
Can you find any resemblance between the two? I can't!
