Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S5 smartphone, the next flagship device from the company, has been the target of a wide range of rumors lately, and it seems that they keep on coming.

The handset might become official as soon as this month during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, yet no official confirmation on its hardware specifications has been provided as of now.

Courtesy of a new report coming from KDB Daewoo Securities (via BGR), however, we can make a better idea of what the device might bring along when released.

The info is in line with the previous rumors, though some differences are also observed in the report that said analyst firm has published.

According to them, Samsung would be poised to increase the display of the upcoming flagship handset to as much as 5.25 inches, though it will still pack it with a Widescreen Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

What’s more, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to be launched in two versions, one of them featuring a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, and the other powered by a 64-bit 2GHz octa-core Exynos 6 Octa CPU.

Moreover, the upcoming device might sport 3GB of RAM inside, the same as Galaxy Note 3 before it, along with three different internal memory options, namely 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB.

On the back, the new mobile phone would have a 16-megapixel camera with full HD video recording capabilities, complemented by 3.2MP front camera for making video calls.

Said report also claims that Samsung plans on packing the upcoming smartphone with a 3400mAh battery, which should offer extended usage times. LTE-Advanced, 3G, Wi-Fi, and the like will also be included inside the phone.

The analyst notes that Galaxy S5 will arrive on shelves with Android 4.4 KitKat loaded on it right from the beginning. On top of it, Samsung is expected to put its own TouchWiz UI, with a wide range of customizations and enhancements included.

As mentioned above, no official confirmation on any of these has been provided as of now, and it might take a while before Samsung decides to unveil all the necessary info on the handset, so stay tuned for more on the matter.
