Those who have a tune stuck in their heads must occupy their minds with something else

Earworms (i.e. songs which for one reason or another get stuck to people's minds) are a serious medical condition, especially when the tune that keeps replaying itself inside an individual's brain is a rather annoying one.

Therefore, many will be glad to hear that science has finally managed to come up with a “cure” for this problem. Long story short, it is now being said that anagrams can successfully tackle and even remove earworms.

Researchers claim that Sudoku and other similar games can also help people overcome their so-called stuck-song syndrome, Daily Mail reports.

Fair warning though: neither the anagram, nor the other games used to deal with this problem can be too difficult, otherwise people are likely to get bored and turn back to humming the song they were trying to get rid of in the first place.
