They’re the wild children of British music and they also happen to be good friends. Recently reunited Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty will be moving in together.

As fans must know, they’re not romantically involved – far from it. What the two share is their passion for music and, if one were to believe whispers, a love for illicit substances.

This is precisely what makes this idea – granted the rumor is accurate – the worst Amy could have ever come up with, The Sun says, which is the media outlet to catch wind of this story.

“The Back To Black singer has offered The Libertines frontman a room in her new Camden home once it is refurbished because he’s got nowhere to live in London,” writes the tab.

According to sources close to the very talented and equally troubled singer Winehouse, she’s ready to lend a helping hand to her friend Pete and has already asked him to move in with her.

Unlike Pete, insiders dish, she isn’t in financial trouble. Plus, she may also have rooms to spare and a generous heart for asking him to move in with her in her own house.

“Amy has offered Pete a place to stay while he’s in London working on The Libertines comeback,” an unnamed but reportedly very reliable source says for the British tabloid.

“She thinks a lot of him and they’ve been through a lot together so she wants to help him out. But pals are worried because they are bad influences on each other,” the tipster adds.

“This sounds like a recipe for disaster. The last time they spent a lot of time together they ended up off their nuts posting videos on YouTube surrounded by a load of cats,” The Sun goes on to say.

Indeed, if the rumor is accurate and Doherty takes Amy’s offer, this would be the second time they live under the same roof – and the first time was truly a disastrous experience, as both were addicted to heavy drugs.

In the aftermath of Doherty’s reunion with The Libertines, Amy has gotten back in touch with him as well, even showing up at a few gigs to show her support, which explains the moving in together story.
