Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil Step Out Hand in Hand

Though Blake Fielder-Civil has repeatedly told the media that he and former wife, singer Amy Winehouse, are back together, engaged and talking re-marrying, few actually believed he was speaking the truth. The other night, the hellraising pair stepped out together hand in hand and, thus, confirmed reports about their giving their troubled romance another go, as the Daily Mail can confirm.

For a couple of days now, reports have been pouring in that Amy, who has just recently returned to the recording studio to lay down some new tracks, was looking at houses in Camden, London. She wasn’t buying a place for herself only, though, it was said, since she was looking for a place that would accommodate both her and her former/new flame, Blake, the man whom many considered responsible for her drug and alcohol problems. The photos acquired by the Mail confirm that, at the very least, the two are together again.

“Her father openly expressed his dread at the thought of Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil getting back together. But as the couple stepped out together for the first time in public yesterday, it seemed his warnings had fallen on deaf ears. Hand-in-hand and obviously back together, Amy and her ex-husband seemed defiant in their togetherness,” the Mail writes.

“The two spent the evening at Jazz After Dark in London’s Soho, with Amy visiting the venue to meet artist Sam Shaker, who she has commissioned to paint several pictures. The pictures are sure to devastate Amy’s taxi driver father Mitch, who has previously spoken out about how his daughter stayed away from drugs prior to meeting her ex-husband,” the same publication goes on to say.

On her Facebook page, Amy has already discussed “our new home” with her followers, as rumors started to pick up speed that she and Blake were considering tying the knot in Las Vegas in a secret ceremony to be held later this year. Unnamed sources who claim to have knowledge of the singer’s plans confirm these rumors for various British media outlets.
