Amy Winehouse Pursued by "Demons"

- The singer is set to move house for the third time in four months in a bid to escape her demons

By: Monica Gaza, Entertainment News Editor

Troubled British jazz singer Amy Winehouse is not what you'd call the world's sanest, most logical person. Her brilliant voice and immense musical talent have earned her a great deal of appreciation on both sides of the Atlantic, and most young singers in her position
would see themselves as set on a fast track to international success and a long, fulfilling career. However, Amy is not "most singers", and her well-documented drug habit has turned her personal life and - unfortunately her career, too - into one sordid, often very public affair. Latest proof of the fact that the singer is going through yet another bout of drug-fueled depression is her decision to move house for the third time in four months because, it seems, she believes she's being "tormented" by demons.

No meaning to sound pointlessly alarmist here, but psychosis is one of the most serious consequences of drug abuse, and if Amy believes she's haunted by demons, that probably points out to the fact that her condition is getting worse. She’s also said she feels that her surroundings are having a negative impact on her state of mind, which hasn't been very composed (to say the least) over the past months. The singer moved into her Camden home, North London, only a few weeks ago, but already wants to move out and find another place to live. "She feels it is full of bad vibes and demons bringing her down," a friend of Amy's reveals to British tabloid The Sun.

Amy had moved from Camden to Bow, East London, and then went back to Camden (where she currently resides), but feels her demons moved house with her. As a suggestion - just speculating here - the singer might want to consider the possibility that her "demons" have nothing to do with the house itself, but with the fact that Wino keeps shoving all sorts of deadly chemicals into her body, with little regard for her health and appearance. It's pretty pointless feeling depressed about a horrible skin condition when you're the one who effectively brought it on to yourself. Same goes for moving houses and escaping demons which wouldn't be there in the first place if you hadn't hold the door wide open for them.

It's pointless to say what she should have done now... I think it's a bit too late...
