Amy Winehouse is definitely not a happy camper these days - and there is no shortage of reasons for that. But the most obvious - and frightening - one is that the British jazz diva's face has been looking increasingly worse for wear ever since her rumored relapse into her never-quite-defeated drug habit. In case you're not up to speed with the way Amy's face has been deteriorating, HERE is a quick reminder. Amy's representative has blamed the worrying condition of the singer's skin on a highly contagious skin disease called impetigo, although it's obvious her drug use has not been helping matters, either. In a desperate attempt to make her face look better, Amy is reportedly turning to a very unconventional treatment - urine therapy.

The beehived singer is set to mix her morning urine into a skin ointment and apply it daily, in the hope of seeing some improvement in her sore-stricken face. "Amy's sick of turning heads for all the wrong reasons when she's out. She has tried all sorts of lotions and potions but none works", a friend of the singer's reveals. "She is desperately unhappy with her appearance and she is happy to try anything that may clear up her condition. She is praying the urine ointment will work", the pal added. No word yet on who came up with this idea, but you may agree that it will do little to mend Amy's highly publicized negative image of incurable druggie.

The urine treatment is also making people question the initial alleged diagnosis of impetigo - which, any doctor will tell you, will not be cured by one's own piss. Also, it's common knowledge that impetigo is a highly contagious condition that requires the patient to be isolated in order to avoid spreading the infection - however, Amy has been roaming all over London recently, taking her scabby skin all over the coolest pubs and clubs in the British capital. Which means that either Amy's friends have no regard for the state of their own skin, or the diva doesn't have impetigo, but a classic case of the infamous "meth face" - consequence of the singer's well-documented drug abuse. It remains to be seen whether the urine treatment will work - for Amy's sake and for the sake of her fans, we can only hope it will.
