Amplifier System for Music Video Games - the RiffMaster Pro

Don't get your hopes up, this is not for you (unless you run a nightclub and carry enough cash to buy nightclub sound equipment), but it is great news nonetheless. According to this recent report, ArtGuitar and Peavey Electronics have teamed up to release this great looking amplifier system dubbed the RiffMaster Pro, designed to improve the experience of guitar-based music video game tournaments in bars and nightclubs.

The RiffMaster Pro is a complete state-of-the-art speaker system and guitar controller bundle aimed at providing the maximum sound and gameplay quality for video game tournaments, but especially for those dedicated to music video games such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band. The system is set for showcasing at the CES show in Las Vegas, January 7-10.

The RiffMaster Pro features a fully functional PA system powered by Peavey (the world's largest manufacturer of musical instruments and professional sound equipment) along with two limited edition AG RiffMaster Guitar Controllers. The bundle also includes a Peavey microphone. They're all pictured to the top left (click to enlarge).

Guitar Controllers featured in the bundle are the same life-size Peavey guitars modified for play with guitar-based music video games on the PlayStation 2. Remember the Limited Edition Ozzy Osbourne AG RiffMaster Guitar Controller showcased back in October? That's one of them.
