Waking up can prove to be a pretty daunting task at times (especially if you've gone out partying the night before), but in order to lend a helping hand to those people who have some serious trouble getting up and about, German company Amplicom has come up with the TCL 200, an alarm clock that will wake up not only the user himself, but also the whole building (or block) as well.

Without a doubt, the strongest weapon in the TCL 200's arsenal is the sound generating module, capable of delivering an astonishing 90 decibels, which is just about as loud as a lawnmower (and we believe that none of you would be readily willing to wake up to that every morning).

However, if the loud noise should prove not to be enough, Amplicom's device also comes equipped with somewhat of a “sidearm”, namely a cordless vibrating pad that's placed underneath the mattress or the pillow in order to add a little shaking to the alarm (the pad is battery-powered and lasts for around 80 hours in stand-by mode).

The TCL 200 delivers plenty of options as far as setting the alarm is concerned, users being able to choose the days when they want to alarm to ring, adjust the tone and volume, and even set separate alarms for two different persons.

Last, but certainly not least, it's interesting to note that this thing also features a phone jack, allowing users to connect a secondary phone cable to it so that they'll know when the phone is ringing, even if it's located in another room.

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to come by any pricing-related details for the time being, but we'll certainly try to accomplish that on the future.

However, we're pretty sure that, no matter how expensive this thing might be, there will be quite a few people out there willing to give it a go, especially if they're the type of persons who have some pretty big trouble speaking.
