They can provide up to 10,000 square feet of Gigabit Wi-Fi Coverage

Dual-band routers are all high-end, but there is a surprisingly wide range of possible performance levels even there. Amped Wireless aimed to strike the highest possible throughput and range when it created the products making up AC1900 series.

The AC1900 is, at the moment, composed of two items: the AC1900 RTA30 Wi-Fi router and the REA33 Wi-Fi extender.

Both of them are capable of transmitting information, over the air, at a total speed of 1,900 Mbps, hence the name.

Most of it is owed to the 5 GHz frequency band, so you'll need a phone, laptop, tablet or other gadget with support for that section of the EM spectrum to actually benefit.

Still, even the 2.4 GHz common band manages a solid 600 Mbps. And in a world where 300 Mbps is expected to be split between a bunch of different users and still be considered decent, 600 Mbps is a lot.

Anyway, that's just half the good news. The other half is that these are long-range products, which means they can cover 10,000 square feet when the two work in tandem under the Wi-Fi Analytics Tool.

Furthermore, the RTA30 router boasts eight Wi-Fi radios and four high-gain dual-band antennas, plus five Gigabit LAN ports and an USB 3.0 connector, in addition to sixteen high-power amplifiers.

The REA33 high-power AC1900 Wi-Fi range extender can function in any 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac networks, but its similar makeup to the RTA30 makes it best suited for high-end, professional/corporate settings.

“We are very excited to announce the fastest and longest range Wi-Fi router and range extender we have ever developed!,” said Amped Wireless's CEO Jason Owen.

“Both feature the latest, high power Wi-Fi technology and are packed with high power parts to provide the best Wi-Fi experience ever offered. This means faster streaming, downloading and web browsing with all of your devices, throughout your entire home, backyard, or office.”
