Amp'd Mobile and Medio Systems have teamed up in order to launch a new search application that was designed to bring an unprecedented user-friendly search experience to customers.

The two companies have been working together for several months to design a unique search offering that would provide faster discovery, real time indexing and personalized and relevant content.

Medio's search solution has been integrated into the unique Amp'd live User Interface and searched
all music artists, ringtones, wallpapers and games in the Amp'd content catalog in addition to searching the mobile web.

The companies have also designed the search application for speed and efficiency allowing Amp'd Mobile users to find exactly what they are looking for within two click or even less.

"Traditional search functionality in the mobile industry proves frustrating to most cell phone users because it can be clunky and slow, and then not even deliver helpful results," said Mike McSherry, senior vice president of emerging technologies for Amp'd Mobile. "With more than a million pieces of content available to Amp'd subscribers, these newly enhanced search capabilities, courtesy of our partnership with Medio, will greatly improve user access to the entire spectrum of our content."

The mobile search application is expected to be launched this spring and according to Michael Libes, the chief architect and co-founder of Medio Systems, the partnership between the two companies is setting the standard for providing a mobile search experience for consumers and will not end here. In the future, they also aim at integrating a mobile search advertising platform with the now deployed search application.
