Amp'd Mobile, a leading US mobile entertainment provider has recently been launched in Canada and is now offering Canadian users all the impressive and original exclusive content, available until now only to its customers in the US.

The first integrated mobile entertainment company for youth, Amp'd Mobile is also the only 3G carrier in the country targeting that specific demographic. Through a Telus and Amp'd Mobile partnership, Amp'd Mobile Canada will be setting a new bar for mobile entertainment on the Canadian market.

By using Telus' wireless high speed service (Ev-DO), Amp'd customers will be able to access quite a few services, including the usual ones (voice and text) as well as exclusive music tracks and videos, live entertainment, 3D games and mobile communities, through Amp'd Live, a UI designed specifically for 3G technology.

Music enthusiasts will be able to access all content like video, ringtones, music or screensavers through the dedicated MuchMusic channel. With a content strategy that focuses on three main areas, exclusive licensed content, original programming and user-generated content, Amp'd finds countless ways to entertain their target market.

Reportedly, the only handset available so far (with more coming, hopefully) is the Motorola Q, that can be found through both Amp'd and Telus stores and the plans they're currently offering start from CA$35-90 (US$30-76) per month. The entertainment packages are extra with CA$7 per month for radio and CA$10 per month for TV. Users can also choose from several unlimited data plans including Amp'd Silver for $10/month (10 video channels, 100 messages), Amp'd Gold for $15/month (20 video channels, Amp'd Radio, 100 messages) or Amp'd Platinum for $20/month (20 video channels, Amp'd Radio, Amp'd TV, unlimited messages).
