The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department have issued a press statement to announce that Las Vegas Strip shooting suspect Ammar Harris has been captured and detained.

"Harris was arrested without incident and will be transported to the LAPD Metro Detention Center to await extradition proceedings," a spokesman details, as you can see in the video attached to this article.

As previously reported, Harris fatally shot rapper Kenny Clutch on February 21, an incident that sent his car spiraling out of control, killing two other people in a taxi cab.

He has been captured during a multi-agency operation, involving the Los Angeles Police department and the FBI.

Harris' rap sheet included arrests for pandering, robbery, and kidnapping, ABC News informs. As I mentioned yesterday, police have also located the suspect's 22-year-old girlfriend Tineesha Lashun Howard, also going by the name Yenesis Alfonzo.

"Yenesis Alfonzo is no longer a person of interest because she was located and interviewed by LVMPD detectives in another state last night at approximately 8:30 p.m. Pacific time. [..] Alfonzo has confirmed that she was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting," the police spokesman says.
