Good things come from China too, and now we have the Amex Digital G-Plus GPS phone. The device sounds better than you'd expect, although it's left to see just how good it responds to the user's commands.

The bar-shaped cellular has GPS technology as the only thing that it can brag about in order to gain grounds against other similar devices. This will make sure that the user always has a map in his pocket, at the tip of his fingers and always get around perfectly anywhere. Amex Digital G-Plus offers a GPS Viewer, a photo GPS, and also a LED that works as a GPS indicator. To make it even easier to use, there are also included the usual 5-way navigation keys, and an e-map browser.

The 1.3 megpixel camera on this handset will manage to shoot only average quality pictures, nothing impressive. It can also record videos at 30 frames per second, but there all chances for the quality of these captures to be one of the lowest possible.

The 2.4 inch QVGA LCD screen supports 3D display. As special as that might sound, there will be few situations for the user to enjoy this type of view. Still, it will surely prove to be great for GPS navigation in best circumstances. The user will be able to have a clear view on a large map area and make a navigation route.

One drawback about the Amex Digital G-Plus GPS phone is that it does not have 3G technology, for allowing fast data transfer speeds. Still, it’s greatest talent is that it packs GPS, although there is a great number of other similar, or even better mobile phones out there for this feature.

For those who need a GPS, first of all, but would love to pack in the same device the cellular that they use only for communication, the Amex Digital G-Plus phone sounds like the perfect thing.
