14 DAY TRIAL // In April 2014, Kristen Stewart of the “Twilight” fame, made headlines around the world when she dyed her hair a washed-up orange that looked like the worst home dye job you could ever get when you tried to do red. It later emerged that the makeunder was for a new role, in which she was to play a stoner.
Well, color me intrigued. The movie is called “American Ultra” and also stars Jesse Eisenberg as the world’s unlikeliest action hero. They are a stoner couple in love, on the verge of getting engaged. And probably about to celebrate said engagement by getting high.
Yahoo! has the first red band trailer for the pic, which is best described as a blend of a comedy and an action film. It sees Jesse as a supersecret agent who is reactivated but is deemed a liability and must be eliminated.
His girlfriend / future fiancée (Stewart) is caught by the bad guys, so in the end, it all boils down to saving her.

Directed by Nima Nourizadeh (“Project X”) off a script by Max Landis (“Chronicle”), “American Ultra” promises to be a hilarious ride, the kind we don’t get that often in theaters. It also stars John Leguizamo, Topher Grace and Connie Britton, and will be out this August.
