14 DAY TRIAL // Nokia Lumia 520 owners in Canada rejoice, as the Finnish company has just started the rollout of the highly-anticipated Amber update.
MobileSyrup reports that the major update is now available for Lumia 520 smartphones purchased through Rogers, TELUS, and Koodo Mobile.
Lumia 520 users will notice that, after the upgrade is successfully applied, they will have access to new features, such as Glance and Data Sense.
With Glance, users will be able to check the time without having to wake up the phone. The clock displayed on the screen when the phone is in standby mode can be set to remain active at various intervals or it can be disabled completely.
Some camera features, such as Nokia Smart Cam, are included in the Amber update as well, but they require Lumia 520 users to access the Windows Phone Store.
