14 DAY TRIAL // Dating rapper Kanye West may seem like a dream come true to many women out there but for model Amber Rose, who’s been there done that, as the saying goes, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be, as she says in a brand new interview.
Rose is now in a relationship with rapper Wiz Khalifa and there’s even some talk about how he’s considering proposing to her despite the fact that they don’t know each other for that long.
Speaking with King Magazine, Rose reveals that people often say to her that she “downgraded” by going from Kanye to Wiz, though, personally, she doesn’t see how this could be.
Since she was the only one to actually date both, it’s safe to assume she knows what she’s talking about.
“The thing of it is… how can I say this without sounding crazy or mean? I’m sorry,” she says. Obviously, she doesn’t want to sound like she’s dissing Kanye, though this is what she ends up doing – in a way.
“There’s no comparison in personalities. You know when people say how do you go from Kanye to Wiz Khalifa, that’s a downgrade,” Rose begins by saying.
“But the only question I can ask them is: have you ever dated Kanye? Because I have, and believe me, I did not downgrade at all. Not in any aspect, at all,” she adds.
Though Wiz is younger than her, Amber says he’s very mature about everything and, overall, the kind of man she’s been looking for all along.
They first met on business and they immediately clicked and started hanging out together as friends more. Two weeks into their friendship, they were separated for a short while, which is when they realized they had feelings for each other.
“He’s just so positive. He’s one of those people that in any situation he can always see the brighter side to something. And he always has a smile on his face, he’s never in a bad mood, he’s super talented and smart, he’s a boss,” the model says of her current man.
