Today, mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has added two new versions of the HTC One (M8) smartphone to its offering, namely Amber Gold and Glamour Red.

The those handset versions were officially confirmed at the wireless operator earlier this week, and they are now available for purchase through the company’s online store, as well as via its retail locations.

The two new phone flavors arrive on shelves with the same price tag as the previously available variants, namely $99.99 (€73), with the signing of a two year-contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

The price tag reflects $100 instant savings, which are currently available at Verizon as part of a Father’s Day promotion.

Moreover, the wireless carrier notes that the new HTC One M8 models are XLTE-enabled, which means that users will be able to enjoy fast data transfer rates on its network.

The new Amber Gold and Glamour Red HTC One (M8) phone versions come with the same hardware specs and capabilities as the previously available flavors.

HTC has launched the One (M8) with a 5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution, as well as with a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor.

“The all new HTC One one-ups its predecessor, from its premium design and 5-inch Full HD display to its Duo Camera with UltraPixel, which lets you add 3D-style depth and change focus after snapping a photo,” Verizon notes on its website.

“With dual front speakers and enhanced HTC BoomSound, you'll experience true-to-life sound for all your favorite media.”

The handset also features 2GB of RAM, along with 32GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes (up to 128GB of storage).

HTC One (M8) also comes with dual 4MP UltraPixel cameras on the back, as well as with a 5-megapixel front camera, which is said to be capable of a great experience when taking selfies.

“Use UFocus to change the focus on objects in your photos after you take them. With Dimension Plus, add 3D style to your images by tilting the phone to see different angles. Add background effects with Foregrounder,” Verizon notes.

Moreover, the mobile phone is powered by a 2600mAh battery, which can deliver up to 12 hours of usage time, or up to 12.2 days of standby time.

The handset also boasts the usual set of connectivity capabilities, including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and a built-in GPS receiver.

The HTC One (M8) flagship runs under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system but also features the Sense 6.0 user interface loaded on top.
