Today, Canadian mobile phone carrier Rogers has been officially confirmed to plan on making the Amber Gold flavor of the HTC One M8 smartphone available for purchase on its network starting June 24.

The handset was initially announced for the operator about two months ago, but no details on its availability have emerged as of now.

As MobileSyrup notes, the phone was initially set to hit shelves at Rogers in mid-May but got delayed due to high demand.

However, it seems that HTC and Rogers has managed to get things in order with the smartphone, and that those looking to grab it will be able to do so within the next two weeks or so.

The news site also notes that users in Canada waiting for an HTC One M8 smartphone will get the chance to grab it at only $179.99 (€122) on contract, which is $50 (€34) cheaper than before.

The specs list of Amber Gold HTC One M8 is similar to that of other device variants, including its 5-inch touchscreen display, the quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, and 2GB of RAM that accompany it.

Moreover, the phone comes with dual 4MP UltraPixel cameras on the back, a 5MP front camera, and a microSD memory card slot for storage expansion. HTC One M8 runs under Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
