Amazon is gearing up for Black Friday with significant discounts at a wide array of products, including Windows 8 and Chromebook laptops.
While the website is yet to disclose the Black Friday price of the new Microsoft operating system,
PC Advisor writes that an Amazon executive has already confirmed that Windows 8 would be on the Black Friday deals list.
"Black Friday Deals Week offers millions of pounds of savings on hundreds of Christmas gifts as well as every day essentials," said Christopher North, managing director at Amazon.co.uk.
"From electric toothbrushes to the must-have video game or cookery book of the year, it’s a great opportunity for customers to make great savings on things they want for themselves as well as gifts for others."
Some other stores have already announced their
Black Friday Windows 8 deals, so in case you’re looking for a bargain to make the move to the new OS, this is the right time to do it.
