There are reportedly many rumors claiming that Amazon will change focus from Samsung’s Galaxy tablets and will instead attack Apple’s iPad with a 10.1” Kindle Fire.

As the summer holiday season is approaching, Amazon seems interested in capturing the traveling reader's market and it will likely try to tempt digital readers with a bigger 10” tablet.

After enjoying such high sales with the previous Kindle models, Amazon suddenly wants to strike at the heart of the “apple dragon.”

If we include the sales of the smaller 7” model of the Kindle Fire, Amazon is expected to enjoy tablet sales of over 30 million during this year.

Amazon’s 8.9” tablet seems to be only suspended right now, and the company might decide to launch the device after all.
