Internet giant Amazon is getting ready for the launch of its Amazon Prime Instant Video client on Microsoft’s Windows Phone mobile operating system, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

No official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now, but an Amazon representative has already told a customer that the service is en route to Windows Phone.

According to WMPoweruser, said rep has confirmed that the company decided to offer Prime on Windows Phone due to the increased interest that users have shown on the platform.

Amazon has already launched a series of applications on Windows Phone, including its Amazon Mobile app, as well as Kindle and Audible apps.

No official info on when Prime will arrive on devices running under the operating system has been provided as of now, but said rep suggested that this would happen soon.
