Amazon has already made the Kindle Fire HDX available to British and Canadian consumers. Now US customers are given the same treatment.

The slate has been available for pre-order ever since September 25, but shipping procedures have now been officially initiated in the US.

So far, customers can only get the Wi-Fi version, but if you’re patient enough, you’ll be able to grab the LTE version from Verizon and AT&T starting November 14.

Here’s a quick round up of what you can get if you purchase the device. The Kindle HDX features a 7-inch screen with a crisp intense resolution of 1920 x 1200 p and it is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB or RAM. Users can opt for the 32 GB or the 64 GB version.

Those who want the newest Kindle Fire version can head over to Amazon.com and grab theirs now. Prices start at $229 / €167.
