People who thought the Kindle e-reader wasn't already cheap enough will doubtlessly rejoice when they hear about the new one that costs just $79 (57.95 Euro).

Amazon put the Kindle e-reader through several price cuts already, as well as version updates, but things are going even further.

During the live event being held in New York City, the company unveiled this so very affordable e-reader.

Amazon's founder and CEO Jeff Bezos expects it to sell in the millions, which might very well happen.

There are some concessions of course, but lacking touch support probably won't matter much to most buyers, especially with the four separate buttons on the bottom, as well as the four-way button in the middle.

All in all, the newcomer weighs six ounces and should show up online today (September 28, 2011), if it hasn't already.
