This way, anyone and everyone in the world can get a customized object

We've written about many 3D printers, 3D printed products, and 3D printing tutorials, as well as companies and shops that specialize in the sale of all these things. However, for everyone who doesn't own a 3D printer and isn't interested in the pre-made toys and other objects already up for order, it can be hard to get a true, custom object.

This is no longer the case, because Amazon has opened a special portal through which customers can design and order exactly the kind of product they require.

Currently, there are 200 unique print on-demand products, like toys, fashion accessories, and home furnishing, but they can be fully customized.

Which is to say, you get to select the material, the size, the colors, the styles, even get your name embossed somewhere. If you have your own images or texts, you can get those engraved as well, or added as relief, or some other technique, like simple paint.

Cufflinks, bobbleheads, and wine glass holders form the ranks of the “cheap” objects, priced at $44 / €33, while pendants and other items of jewelry will set you back around $100 / €75.

There are even miniature swords for $9 / €6.7, as well as various other objects like 3D printed wallets ($36 / €27), wax seals, etc. All can be examined in a 360-degree view.

Of course, the shop also has direct links to the 3D printers, filament rolls, scanners, and 3D printing parts and accessories offered through Amazon.

All in all, the Amazon 3D Printing Store will bring 3D printed goods to everyone in the world who lives in a country where the store can make deliveries, which is mostly every country with Internet access.

The one problem that seems to stand out is that most, if not all, of the 3D printed objects are made through FDM 3D printing, the most common but also least precise and detailed 3D printing technique on the market (whereby objects are built from superheated plastic filament forced out through an extruder).

Then again, some items, like the 3D printed jewelry, seem detailed enough to suggest Amazon's service also has at least one SLA/DLP printer available for work (which grows items from resin by bombarding the photopolymer with light).

Also, some products are made through metal 3D printing, like the 3D printed, bronze-infused stainless steel dog collar. Amazon has definitely covered all possible bases, if nothing else.
