Those lucky enough to receive an invite can try Amazon’s latest tablet, no expense

Amazon really wants you to give their latest Kindle Fire HDX tablets a chance. It appears the company is sending out email invitations to select customers, offering to let them try out the new Kindle Fire HDX for free, for a period of 30 days.

But wait, there’s more. Even if at a first glance, the invitation seems to be Kindle Fire HDX orientated, perspective customers can choose between the Kindle Fire HD or Kindle Paperwhite 3D too, says Pocket-lint. This is one piece of interesting market strategy Amazon has come up with, conveniently just in time for the holiday season.

The invitation reads as follows, “Kind Fire and Kindle Fire HDX are brand new generation of powerhouse tablets, built for work and play. But instead of simply telling you all about them, we’d like you to experience on for yourself, risk-free for 30 days.”

Don’t worry about additional charges. If you say yes, Amazon will take care of the shipping expenses, and after 30 days if you decide you don't want the Kindle after all, you won’t have to pay anything to ship it back. The tech giant will only charge users if they don’t return the device after 30 days.

So far there’s been no information on whether the program applies only to US residents or invites are sent out exclusively to Prime members.
