iLife 11 book listings at Amazon UK reaffirm rumors that Apple is on track to roll out an updated version of the suite. Interestingly, iDVD appears to be a part of iLife still, while  there are strong references to either iLife apps for iOS, or the ability to create apps for iOS with the supposed new mystery application.

iLife is a suite of Apple-developed applications pre-loaded on every new Mac. Currently comprised of iPhoto, iMovie, iWeb, iDVD, and GarageBand, the forthcoming iLife 11 was believed to drop iDVD in favor of a new, mystery application.

In the above picture depicting the iLife 11 book ad, the red band reads: “iPhoto, iMovie and more with apps for Mac, iPhone 4, iPod and iPad.”

9to5mac speculates that this could mean there are iLife apps in the works for iOS. Another interpretation on behalf of the site suggests users could somehow create their own apps for iOS with a new iLife application.

It also takes into account the possibility of all this being a farce.

Macnn picked up on the story as well, noting that the entry for a German help guide mentions thereferences to it coming "with apps for Mac, iPhone 4, iPod and iPad."

However, unlike the aforementioned source, Macnn believes these mentions are likely references to the current iMovie app for the iPhone 4 and fourth generation iPod touch.

According to the Amazon.com listings, the book would arrive in November. As the latter source points out, neither Amazon nor author Daniel Mandl could possibly have direct knowledge Apple’s schedule for shipping iLife '11.

There is also a separate entry dedicated especially for iMovie. The book makes a direct mention of iDVD, despite rumors of Apple dropping the app in favor of another, in its latest version of iLife.

This book is also scheduled to ship next month, according to the listings.
