After two months of waiting, people can finally get their hands on it

The only problem that Amazon's newest tablet had until the other day was that it was unavailable, despite its official launch having taken place two months ago.

Amazon has been accepting pre-orders, but it never intended to ship the product before the middle of this month (November 2012).

Now, though, customers needn't wait any longer that it takes the delivery man to take the product from storage to their house.

$299 / 299 Euro will earn people an 8.9-inch 1920 x 1200-pixel LCD, 1 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and the 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4 processor that might not be around for much longer.

From November 20 onwards, a 4G LTE-capable model of the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 will be sold for $499 / 499 Euro. A lot for just some extra wireless Internet speed, but still less than the LTA Apple iPad ($629 / 629 Euro).
