A video about how to take apart a fourth generation Kindle

Just a few weeks have passed since Amazon introduced the fourth version of its popular Kindle eBook reader, but the crew of a hardware website has already managed to dismantle the device and posted a video of the whole process.

While taking apart your Kindle may seem like a cool thing to do, be advised that the dismantling is anything but easy as Amazon went to great lengths to make sure that this isn't user serviceable.

If you however manage to get you Kindle 4 into pieces, than on the inside you would get to see the new 800MHz processor installed by Amazon, 128MB of memory, a SanDisk flash memory for storing eBooks, an Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi chipset and the all important 890mAh battery.

Of course that anybody who wants to disassemble its Kindle should arm himself with quite a bit of patience, and maybe get used with the idea of not being able to put the whole thing back together.
