Amazon’s Appstore has just received a new update that promises to make it more stable and reliable. However, the latest version comes with a new “Test Drive” feature as well.

Although “Test Drive” feature is still in beta, Amazon Appstore 2.6.53 comes with this option enabled. It is only available on select Android phones and for a limited selection of applications.

With “Test Drive,” users will be able to try out an application without having to download, install or purchase it. Simply test it for a limited period of time and, if it meets your demands, purchase it afterwards.

The latest update also fixes a bug that prevented users to download a large file via 3G or 4G network. Several stability enhancements have been included as well.

Amazon Appstore 2.6.53 is now available as a free download via Softpedia and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android OS.
