The Kindle Fire gets another weapon in its fight against the Nook Tablet

Amazon and Barnes & Noble seem to have started a full-out war to see who can deliver the most multimedia content on their recently announced tablets, and the former's latest weapon in this war is Hulu Plus.

The service offers access to TV shows from ABC, Comedy Central, The CW, Fox, NBC, MTV, VH-1 and others, all for a monthly fee of $7.99 (5.85 EUR).

Although it still features some “limited advertising,” Hulu Plus has become increasingly popular since its introduction and is one of the main features that B&N advertises in the Nook Tablet.

Amazon however didn't had support for Hulu Plus until this recent announcement, as the company has decided to limit Kindle Fire users access to the Android Market (where the app is available free of charge) and instead rely only on its own Appstore for Android.

The Amazon Kindle Fire will begin shipping on November 15 and it retails for $199 (about 146 Euros).
