14 DAY TRIAL // Awesome as it may be, Marc Webb's “Amazing Spider-Man” is also going to be used as a means on introducing a whole new project that has been rumored for a while. It's called “The Sinister Six” and it's going to feature all the major baddies in the Spider-Man universe.
Entertainment Weekly confirms that the latest Spider-Man movie is going to make an entrance for the Sinister Six “At the tail end of this movie we set up some of the other characters that will probably end up being in the Sinister Six,” according to Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal.
The film, set for release on May 2, will feature Electro played by Jamnie Foxx, Goblin played by Dane DeHaan and The Rhino played by Paul Giamatti, which means that any of these villains might end up in the Sinister Six movies.
Andrew Garfield, the man behind the Spider-Man costume, isn't sure which of the baddies will be included on the list, but he mentioned that he's a fan of Venom, Doc Ock, Vulture and Kraven.
With two more movies in the “Amazing Spider-Man” franchise to be released, out of which only the third part is going to be directed by Marc Webb, there are still many issues to iron out before we can get a definitive list of who will eventually make the cut and become part of the Sinister Six.
