More and more mobile communication companies are launching concept phones that are not only trendy but also much more sophisticated. The new mobile devices are often designed to have a comfortable size and be ready to be used in every location.

The Radia concept phone is a handset that sounds too good to be true. The designer, Mike Laut chose aluminum instead of ordinary plastic and a large touch-display that seems wide enough to show a whole newspaper page.

Laut is specialized in industrial design, illustration and interaction design. He is highly popular among high-tech designers but also has come up with an impressive collection of concept accessories such as: WD External Hard Drive, and many future cars concept like: Bronco Car or 2006 Camaro Concept car.

All the new handsets must be designed to make a certain statement about the owner, and the new Radia concept phone is definitely an elegancy and sophistication statement for anyone who would dare to use it.

An impressive detail of the device is that the microphone is 180 degrees around the perimeter for a better acoustical performance. It is good to know that the target of such a concept phone is not for the average income people as the design is simply too glamorous.

Moreover, many of us would say that a rectangular display is far more preferable for reading texts or displaying web pages than a circular one. But we have to admit it catches the eyes mostly because it has a futuristic design that would make almost every high-tech gadgets addict buy it on the spot.

The most remarkable detail is undoubtedly the transparent touchscreen technology. Who wouldn't want a phone that looks like a big slice of diamond? It would definitely smash the competition.

Without further explanation, the handset is a real candy for the eyes!
