Acura has enjoyed its fair share of glory due to its three amazing concepts showcased during the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, that will most likely impact the market of luxurious vehicles in the upcoming years.

After turning heads with its ILX compact sedan and its 2013 RDX crossover sport utility vehicle, the time has come to introduce its expected NSX Concept.

The lightweight, all-wheel drive hybrid will come with aV-6 engine and dual-clutch transmission. The automaker started working on this prototype while firmly believing that a supercar must not shift drivers from their environmental responsibilities.

Even though most eco-conscious buyers find it hard to believe that a vehicle rolling on the streets like a Ferrari could be considered earth-friendly, its developers have committed to keeping emissions and fuel usage under control.

So far, the company is being secretive about the horsepower output delivered by the V6 engine and three electric motors.

We will still have to wait a while before testing the amazing supercar, since its production could start in the next three years, in Ohio.
