Star says she works out but doesn’t diet

Former model turned one of the hottest young actresses of the moment Amanda Seyfried is still at an age where she can afford to not diet and just throw in a couple of workouts every week to make sure she maintains her figure. Still, there’s more to looking this great than just working out, as the actress also says confidence and acceptance are also extremely important, as How Celebrities Lose Weight informs.

According to a recent interview cited by HCLW, Amanda is not the one to obsess over her weight, no matter what tabloids say about her figure. Because she has grown up in the modeling industry, she knows very well that what matters is staying healthy, for which reason she’s careful about what she eats but never diets, works out but never overdoes it. As a matter of fact, right now, Amanda is at her heaviest yet, as she herself admitted in an interview taken not long ago.

A self-proclaimed fan of the “free” lifestyle that knows none of the limitations imposed by diets and keeping strict hours for the gym, Amanda can’t help but admire other stars who have made of their bodies their best work so far. Still, she does work out, HCLW says, with the treadmill being her favorite exercise to date. At just 23, Amanda can vouch she has the type of metabolism that allows her to spend 40 minutes on the treadmill every now and then, and stay in the enviable shape she’s in.

“I would like to have more muscle and be cut. But I think your body will be what it’s going to be. If I had to be in [swimsuit] all the time I’d be doing ab exercises and taking diet pills. I’m not so obsessed with trying to lose weight and so I don’t really know any diet tips to lose weight.” Amanda says of her weight-related goals. As also noted above, not obsessing with her figure is the key to happiness for this particular star.

Of course, Amanda is not the only female star to say that workouts – and no diets – are enough to keep her toned. Just recently, 21-year-old model Bar Rafaeli was also saying that she would never deprive herself of food, no matter how “cool” a diet might seem at first. Both in her and Amanda’s case, it’s clear that age plays an important factor in how they manage to keep the pounds from piling on.
