Before moving to New York, Amanda Bynes was involved in a series of incidents in Los Angeles that hinted she may have a drinking problem. She’s just pled no contest to driving on a suspended license, it has emerged.

First, she was booked for two hit and runs, with paparazzi videos showing her getting behind the wheel apparently intoxicated.

Her license was suspended but that didn’t prevent her from getting behind the wheel again. She was pulled over by cops and her car was impounded.

After settling the two hit and run cases out of court by paying off the victims, Amanda has just had another case closed.

“Amanda wasn't in court, but her lawyer, Rich Hutton, was there as the judge took the plea,” TMZ reports.

“Amanda will be placed on 3 years probation, which requires her to obey all laws. She was also warned NOT to drive without a valid license and insurance. She also must pay a $300 [€230] fine,” the same media outlet says.

However, Bynes still has a DUI case pending, stemming from the same series of incidents.

Amanda Bynes has not addressed any of this on her Twitter, which she now uses as her spokesperson to refute rumors, make statements, and occasionally threaten to sue every living human being on the planet.

One of her most recent tweets, though, includes an admission of plastic surgery, with Amanda explaining how she went under the knife for a nose job and how it totally improved her self-confidence.

As we reported at the time, she also said that she never planned to go public with her nose job but felt like she owed it to her fans, so that they knew why she didn’t look like herself anymore.

“I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes,” she said.
