14 DAY TRIAL // Amanda Bynes’ life is going off the rails again, reports online claim. Just days after she was arrested for DUI and confirmation came that she was no longer under her parents’ conservatorship, she’s back in New York, acting strangely and generating more and more rumors that she’s back on drugs.
In 2012 and 2013, the retired actress went through a very mediated meltdown, which eventually landed her in hospital on a psychiatric hold and then in rehab. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and placed under her parents’ care in Los Angeles.
She seems to be out of their control again, and if any of these reports are accurate, out of control in general.
Bynes acts out at LAX, is “not well”
Bynes was spotted at LAX before boarding her plane for New York, with eyewitness who saw her taking to social media to detail her weird behavior. Their tweets and photos have been deleted since, but the Daily Mail can confirm they were at one point online.
They claim that Bynes was eating alone at a cafeteria, while applying layer upon layer of makeup to her face and talking to herself. She also seemed high on something and really didn’t care that people around her were staring, as long as they didn’t take pictures.
“She started putting on tons of make up and making weird faces and talking to herself. She's not well,” one eyewitness recalled.
The star continued to act strangely for the rest of her stay at the airport, and judging by photos available at both the Mail and TMZ, she kept it up once she landed in New York. As the pic above can confirm, Amanda arrived with a bandage on her face, which she tried to hide when she noticed the interest she was getting from the paparazzi.
Back on social media, Bynes is tweeting all kinds of offensive things
If you recall her previous meltdown, you probably remember all those nasty messages Amanda would put on her Twitter, insulting celebrities and fans alike, calling them ugly and fat while saying she was nothing short perfection: young, beautiful and thin.
Well, she’s back on social media, though she’s not using the same handle as before, @AmandaBynes (Amanda Bynes), but @PersianLa27 (Amanda). In between calling people she deems too “negative” ugly and chubby (and fat), Amanda is busy denying reports that there’s anything the matter with her.
She also insists that photos of her at the airport in Los Angeles and New York are fakes, because that’s not her: she’s way better looking, she says. However, she’s pleading with all those who tweeted messages or photos of her to “PLEASE DELETE THIS,” in Caps.
Interestingly, she also insists that she wasn’t kicked out of fashion school because of her behavior and that she is still in contact with her parents, thus trying to downplay rumors that she’s spinning out of control again.
However, it’s her parents who told the press that they had no idea of her whereabouts and that she moved out of their house to get her own place the moment the conservatorship ended.
