14 DAY TRIAL // For those of you out there who follow Amanda Bynes on Twitter, you'll be familiar by now with her erratic status updates that often don't make any sense at all and seem to come out of the blue. Like a Tourette syndrome patient, Amanda seems to blurt out hateful things about people in her life she feels threatened by.
Over the weekend, she again lashed out against her father she claimed abused her, after she had previously retracted her allegations. This time, she made a curious confessions in what seemed like a brief moment of lucidity and self-awareness.
For the first time since she was released from hospital, Amanda Bynes seems to be aware of her problems
The troubled actress who had just been released from a mental institution wrote that “I was diagnosed bi - polar and manic depressive so I'm on medication and I'm seeing my psychologist and pyshchiatrist weekly so I'm fine (sic).”
Her moment of honesty was followed by a rant in which she explained her current situation. “I'm not living with my parent. I'm not legally obligated to,” she told her fans, after, over the weekend, news sites published reports that her parents had gotten a judge to grant them conservatorship and control over her finances.
Amanda also adds that “My lawyer said if I comply with the courts and take my meds and see my psychologist and pyshchiatrist weekly then I will get unconserved (sic)” before blurting out “Thank God” one hour later.
Several hours passed since her heartfelt admission which many took as a sign that she was now on proper medication and feeling better, before her bipolar condition took over and she all of a sudden denied her previous statement.
Hours after her confession, Amanda denies it was she who wrote the tweets, claims her phone was stolen by a friend
In a weird retraction, she now claims that none of the things written on her Twitter profile in the last day is true. “I was at a friends apartment last night and one of my friends tweeted my phone , sorry guys!” explains Amanda to her nearly three and a half million followers.
Most of those followers are now advising Bynes to take her medication regularly and warn her that she has a serious problem.
Also over the weekend it emerged that her parents were in control of Amanda's estate, and that, in order to make sure she wasn't overspending, they only allowed her access to small sums on a daily basis through the means of gift certificates.
The paranoid actress has continued to say that her parents are after her money and that they have also planted a chip in her head to track her and make her say bad things.
