Berry's father also got to speak to his daughter

Kidnapping victim Amanda Berry has reached out to her family, introducing her daughter and letting them know that she is fine.

Berry spoke to her relatives gathered in the home of her father, who has left Ohio for Tennessee many years ago.

In an interview posted below this entry, a sighing Johnny Berry can barely describe his conversation to the daughter he thought he lost for good. He tells reporters how Amanda's mother has died of a broken heart after she went missing.

According to News Net 5, Berry’s grandmother Fern Gentry was also emotional when she spoke to Amanda. She asked her about the little girl in the photos and found out that she is Berry's daughter Jocelyn.

“I’m glad to have you back,” Gentry told her granddaughter.

“I’m glad to be back,” Berry responded.

“I thought you were gone,” Gentry said.

“Nope, I’m here,” Berry reassured her.

It seems like this call was much calmer than the last of Berry's calls which I have reported on. She was visibly distraught when she spoke to a 911 dispatcher minutes after her release from the home of kidnapper Ariel Castro.
