Amadeus Consulting, a company that was recently named among the top ten app developers in Boulder and Broomfield, announced that it would offer custom application development for the Windows Phone 7 operating system. According to the company, it has a long history of working with Microsoft's products and has been a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner since 1994.

The company plans on kicking off the development on Windows Phone 7 as soon as the platform arrives on handsets on the market later during the ongoing year, and says that it is currently learning the software development kit. Amadeus Consulting enjoys an extensive experience in the mobile applications space, with more than 30 custom software solutions already available for it.

The Windows Phone 7 OS comes to the market with a user interface somehow similar to that available on Zune, the company notes. There are six hubs present on the UI, each meant to aggregate data from various sources, based on specific areas: People, Pictures, Games, Music + Video, Marketplace, and Office. Windows Phone 7 is set to mark a shift Microsoft makes in the mobile phone market from the older Windows Mobile operating system.

“With this transition and change to Windows Phone 7 Series, our application development team is better able to offer our customers more meaningful and user-friendly applications in the mobile environment. We are extremely excited about the additions that Microsoft presented at the MIX Conference,” CIO John Basso commented on Amadeus Consulting's extensive Microsoft technology experience.

Amadeus Consulting is a company focused on delivering intelligent technology solutions. The company is a Microsoft Silverlight Partner too, has Microsoft Partner Competencies in Custom Development, Mobility and Data Management Solutions, and is the winner of the Microsoft Office XP Challenge. “Amadeus Consulting ranked in the top 25 on the prestigious Mercury 100 list of the fastest-growing private companies in Boulder and Broomfield counties for three consecutive years, and has placed on the Inc. 5000 list for four consecutive years,” the company notes in a press-release (via WMPoweruser).
