The Alpine Team announced on May 30th that Alpine Linux 2.4.3, a community-developed operating system designed for x86 Routers, Firewalls, VPNs, VoIP and servers, is available for download.

Alpine Linux 2.4.3 is just a bug fix release, which means there are only a couple of bugs that have been fixed.

The first and the most important change is the update of the Linux 3.3.7 kernel. The second change is a fix for a problem in Alpine Linux 2.4.2 that pulled in packages from edge. This fixes nfsd segfaulting and dahdi kernel modules not loading.

Among other addressed problems, there is a fix for setup-apkrepos that no longer adds empty mirrors, a security upgrade fixing multiple vulnerabilities, a fix for “nit.d script”, and the bond-master now properly works when initiated by slave. Download Alpine Linux 2.4.3 right now from Softpedia.
