For everybody out there’s who’s a chef at heart and would like to blend technology with the act of preparing delicious meals, we have something interesting to show you.

Surely tablets to be used in the kitchen aren’t exactly something new. Sony put out a Kitchen Edition version of its Xperia Tablet Z, which came pre-installed with a whole host of cookery apps. Also, there’s the Sharp Chop-Sync too, that allows gourmands to actually chop their food on the slate.

But now we want to show you a tablet concept that has been designed especially for professional cooks. Jaewan Jeong of Yankodesign is the creator of the prototype, which he has dubbed the Almighty Board.

The device is actually a digital cutting board that will enable cooks to chop meat, vegetables and everything else needed to prepare the most exquisite meals. But on top of that, the tablet will supply info about the food items being cut.

The digital cutting board will display info detailing the weight of the food and tip you recipe-wise. And of course, like any other item you use in the kitchen, the tablet is washable.

The slate is smart enough to warn users if the board hasn't been cleaned well enough, in order to prevent food poisoning or other sort of contamination, which comes in pretty handy. What do you think?
