Good news, Alltel users! Thanks to the US carrier, you will be able to get the latest phone from Motorola, MOTORAZR VE20, also known as Motorola Vegas.

Motorola says that the key features of the phone are the large external display with touch-sensitive controls, Bluetooth stereo wireless technology, music player and “iconic RAZR design with premium finishes.”

Other features include a 2 megapixel camera with video recording and 4x zoom, GPS, 32MB of onboard memory expandable via microSD, speakerphone and a 3.5 mm jack for listening to music with any headphones. The device also provides up to 250 minutes of talk time and up to 360 hours in standby mode, along with an address book with a 600-name capacity. The phone is only 99 x 51 x 15.2 mm, which will make fitting it in any pocket quite an easy task. Furthermore, at only 368.6 grams, it just might be the lightest RAZR phone ever.

The clamshell phone also comes with pre-loaded Alltel functionalities like Alltel Search, City ID, Alltel Navigation, and Aricent Celltop. VE20 also has the Music Connect function, which will allow users to transfer music from a PC to the handset.

“The RAZR is one of the most popular wireless handsets of all time, and Alltel's next generation RAZR, the VE20, will impress anyone seeking form, function and fun in their wireless device. This latest addition to our handset lineup continues our mission of providing our customers with the phones they want at the prices that they can afford, ” said the vice president of device strategy at Alltel Wireless, Brian Ullem.
