Alltel Wireless announced on Monday the launch of the MOTO VE465 clamshell. The new sleek mobile phone, says the carrier, is now available for purchase at Alltel Wireless retail outlets, as well as online at shopalltel.com. The MOTO VE465 has been spotted on the operator's site before, featuring a combination of contemporary style and user-friendly features, such as convenient imaging and multimedia functionality.

The new handset comes with two lighting modes, call and media, which turn it from blue to white, making it easy to switch between listening to music and making a call. MOTO VE465 is able to offer an enhanced experience through its 1.3-megapixel photo snapper with 4x digital zoom and video recording capabilities, coupled with the digital music player.

Among the capabilities of the new MOTO VE465 we can count stereo Bluetooth technology, an external speaker, external control keys for accessing the Bluetooth, Aricent Celltop 2.1, meant to offer easy access to applications and services, as well as a microSD memory card slot, which is able to offer up to 4GB of additional storage space. The mobile phone comes with a 1.9-inch TFT internal display that can offer a 176 x 220 pixel resolution, USB 2.0 connectivity, MMS, SMS, Instant Messaging and E-mail capabilities, along with CDMA (800/1900/1700/2100) connectivity.

“The release of MOTO VE465 continues Alltel's commitment to delivering the most functional and stylish phones on the market to our customers,” said Angela Rittgers, director of product management for Alltel Wireless. “Whether looking for a handset that excels in multimedia, data or voice, MOTO VE465 delivers a top of the line experience.”

The new MOTO VE465 can be acquired online at shopalltel.com, where it features a price tag of $50 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement and after instant rebate. The carrier also announced that it would offer its customers the exclusive "My Circle" feature, which would provide them with unlimited, free calling to and from any five, 15 or 25 numbers on any network.
