Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has been long rumored to plan the launch of a Windows 8 tablet, but it seems that it might have canceled one model; yet photos with it are now available for your viewing pleasure.

The device in question supposedly packs a 1.3GHz Tegra 3 processor, 2GB of RAM, HDMI-OUT, USB Port, and SIM Slot, while running under Windows RT, but it seems that Nokia decided to drop plans for it specifically due to Nvidia’s CPU.

Furthermore, rumor has it that the company was looking at launching a full Windows 8 device, instead of going for the Windows RT platform version, though no specific info on the matter has been provided as of now.

There’s no telling on whether the Nokia tablet that can allegedly be seen in this photo, available courtesy of WPCentral, is indeed the canceled Windows RT device, so we’ll take the info with a grain of salt for the time being.
