Mobile phone carrier T-Mobile USA is readying the launch of its first handset that would sport HSPA+ connectivity on board, the T-Mobile G2, and a few more details on it have just emerged via what seems to be a leaked Android 2.2 Froyo build for it.

As far as rumor goes, there are two things that the said leaked ROM would confirm, namely the fact that T- Mobile G2 would run under Google's Android 2.2 operating system, and that this OS won't sport a specific UI loaded over it.

In other words, it seems that T-Mobile remains truthful to the stock Android OS, and that no HTC Sense UI would be included into the mix, just as previous rumors on the matter unveiled.

The said leaked built of T-Mobile G2's software solution was spotted into the wild by Android Guys. The solution also unveils the processor packed inside the device, it seems, which should be Qualcomm's MSM7x30 chipset.

According to the news site, this would be the “Test rom for HTC Vision / T-Mobile G2 (Android-Froyo 2.2),” as the page where they found it reads, but none of the download links for the software works.

There are great chances that this is not an actual G2 ROM, and we'll take it with a grain of salt for the time being, though there are some who claim they managed to get it and get a taste of it, learning that it should include the stock Android flavor.

The G2 is one of the most expected Android-based devices over at T-Mobile, since it is the first one to pack HSPA+ connectivity, and rumor has it that it would be released at the end of September.

Previously spotted into the wild as the HTC Vision, the mobile phone should arrive in a sliding form factor, while boasting a large touchscreen display, a 1GHz processor, and advanced connectivity options.

The handset was spotted at the FCC recently, where it carried model number HTC PC10100, and the spreadsheet to the left, found inside the leaked ROM, shows a similar model number, namely HTC PC1010000.
