The HP 635 is a nifty tool for those who are looking for an inexpensive notebook suitable for personal use or for a small business.

HP 635 comes with a dual-core AMD CPU and embedded graphics card; the 15.6" backlit LED screen supports HD media and the HDMI port lets you connect it to a bigger screen if needed. The connectivity array also comprises 3 USB 2.0 ports, 1 VGA, 1 stereo microphone input and 1 stereo headphone/ line-out jack and an RJ-45 socket.

The various models in this series sport HHDs ranging between 250GB @ 7200 RPM and 500GB @ 5400 RPM and are equipped with 47 WHr 6-cell batteries promising to power up your notebook for up to 5 hours.

Since we've had a hands-on experience with an HP 635, we'll just say that the plastic/ build seems a bit cheap and the loudspeakers leave a lot to be desired. Nevertheless, nobody expected anything breathtaking from a low-cost notebook.

You're welcome to download the HP 635 drivers you need, from Softpedia, for free as always.
