Mobile users should not be concerned only about pieces of malware designed to target their devices. They should also think about ensuring that the data they store on their mobile gadgets is properly protected.

Many users believe that only malware is capable of stealing their contacts and other private information.

However, in reality, even legitimate applications can put their data at risk. Not to mention common user behavior such as connecting to unsecure public Wi-Fi networks and oversharing on social media websites.

Security firm Trend Micro has released an infographic that sums up everything there is to know about privacy threats and the risks associated with mobile devices.

In addition, the infographic also contains some advice on how to secure your mobile phone or your tablet.
